  1. WebEtch - HTML editor for Windows 95 and Windows NT

  4. WebEtch provides powerful editing capabilities to help you rapidly
  5. develop quality web pages.
  6.  
  7. WebEtch is based on the philosophy that to control how your pages look,
  8. you need to see what's going on with the html tags.  WebEtch allows you
  9. to edit at the tag level, giving you more control over the appearance
  10. of the page. This helps to ensure maximum compatibility with a large
  11. number of popular browsers. WebEtch doesn't force you to comply with
  12. a set of standards or rules. It places you in control, with the power
  13. and responsibility for your pages.

  15. WebEtch provides the capability to launch your browser and preview
  16. your page, as well as using DDE (dynamic data exchange) to update the
  17. page as you make changes. You get to see how the page will actually
  18. look in the browser as you make revisions.

  21. should test the pages to ensure that they display properly on all
  22. browsers. This is true even if you are using a WYSIWYG editor.
